Winter in the Ulten Valley
The Schwemmalm ski area with guaranteed snow is located above the village of Kuppelwies on a sunny slope. Above all, demanding and experienced skiers appreciate the 25 downhill kilometers of the ski area. Winter sports enthusiasts ski here side by side with sports stars like Dominik Paris or Axel Lund Svindal.

Es ist leicht von jedermann zu erlernen und eignet sich auch als Gruppensport und für Familien mit Kindern. Man kann es als gemütliche und stille, aber auch als eine kraftzehrende und abenteuerliche Sportart betreiben.
Christmas Market
It looks very Christmassy… and not only in the nearby spa town of Merano, but also here in the rustic Ulten Valley. The “Ulten Christmas” is not an everyday Christmas market. Because here, in the new Museum Culten, an old farmhouse from the 14th century, the term contemplation gets a completely new meaning. Inside you will find farm products from the valley. Outside you can let yourself be spoilt with culinary delights. And in the underground part of the museum there is plenty of space for exchanging pre-Christmas thoughts.
