Rural culture is alive and tradition meets us at every turn.

Nature & Kultur

The Ulten Valley is one of the most pristine and charming areas of South Tyrol. Landscapes and villages full of natural beauty, with atmosphere, characterized by charm and friendliness.

There are 4 villages in the Ulten Valley, on the slopes there are numerous farms scattered in the middle of extensive meadows. Above the timberline there are numerous alpine pastures and mountain lakes; and above them there are mountain tops that are mostly easy to climb.

St. Pankraz

Fragment of an old Tyrolean tradition full of tranquility lies the Ulten Valley. Isolated from the hustle and bustle of the nearby spa town of Merano and yet easily accessible by car or public bus. In the middle of this rich nature: our house.

Named after the village of St. Pankraz, the first station in the valley and situated 736 meters above sea level, embedded in the simplicity of a rural world, we offer our guests every comfort that the hiker or skier desires after a long day in the mountains.
